The "Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows" books are being released worldwide and what are bookstores in Malaysia doing?? REMOVING THE BOOKS FROM THEIR STORES……NATIONWIDE!!!!! aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh……….what are these people thinking???

Those who have read the Star paper dated 21st July, 2007 would know what i’m complaining about. grrrr…………..
Just cause Carrefour and Tesco are selling the books at 69.90 while bookstores are selling them at 109.90 doesn’t mean that everyone will go to those 2 supermarkets just to buy the book! Besides, the newspaper did mention that the supermarkets have limited copies of the book and would most probably be sold out by noon, yesterday!!!
I was sooo afraid i would not get my copy that i went to Carrefour today….just for the book! N guess wat? there’s no book! instead i went grocery shopping at Carrefour!
SEEEEEEEEEEE…..this is what happens when the bookstores are not selling the book! They are giving free advertisements for these 2 supermarkets!! n bringing them more customers! I’m sure they are people like me who went there for the book too….n ended up grocery shopping instead!
When the bookstores are not selling the book, naturally more people will get them from Carrefour and Tesco…..n now when the supermarkets are out of stock, they can always order more books!!! So what about the books with the bookstores?? return them to the supplier? or keep them till they rot??
Someone better start selling the book! I NEED the book! note: NEED and not want…..NEED!!!!!
What’s the use of a bookstore if they are not selling books? Gosh……i don’t even know if going on strike would make Penguin(the distributor) make the supermarkets change their price!
It’s common sense that when one place is not selling the things you want, you go to the place where the things you want can be found…..no one is gonna wait till the strike ends and everything gets solved before they get their books. It doesn’t matter to the consumers whether you are earning or not….what they want is their goods!
Also, for the bookstores to cancel all their Harry Potter related events is just too much! Think of those small kids who have been awaiting those events! They are gonna remember that this is the bad bookstore that canceled their Harry Potter event! Not to mention the money used in planning the events…..all wasted!!

Order of Pheonix!!! ….just watched the movie last sunday at 1U. the tix was for 3pm n i arrived at n 1U at….3pm! haaha…..we tot we were gonna be late for the movie but thank goodness, the movie started only at 3.30pm!
When the movie 1st started n they showed some park, i was sooo lost! I was thinking which part is it? it took me a while before i remembered the story…cuz i read the book 3 years ago!!! The dementors this time looked different….they actually have hands now and a head!!! a round head! haaaha……in previous movies, they look like a piece of black cloth floating around……..
Everyone looked sooo mature in this movie! The gals all look great! esp Ginny and Hermoine! and Luna Lovegood played by Evanna Lynch from Ireland was amazing! I love her sweet voice and her looks! ….Cho? nothing much to say about her….except "what’s it like kissing Harry?" she’s probably the luckiest character there! After the handsome Cedric!! she gets Harry!!!
The guys on the other hand…..looks like they have not grown any taller since the last movie…..Daniel Radcliffe looks buff….maybe he’s into body building! There was this scene where Harry, Hermoine and Ron were walking in the school grounds n you can actually see Harry is half a head shorter than Ron and Hermoine who are roughly the same height! N at the end, where Ginny was walking next to Seamus….she’s sooo much taller than he is!! The tallest guys in the movie are probably the twins! Speaking of the devils….they were sooo amazing! I love them to death! So glad that the director included the fireworks in the movie! hope they could have added in more parts from the book though.
Neville looks thinner now and he finally has more parts in this movie! I have been wondering since reading the 6th book that if Neville will be one to kill Voldemort? I’m hoping it’s Harry. I know 2 characters will die but who? I hope it’s not Ron! Is there a possibility for Dumbledore to jump back to live too? I hope Malfoy plays more part with his dad with the death eaters…… but yea….just gotta wait for the last book! Talking about Draco…….Tom Falton(Draco Malfoy) looks sooo handsome! But his screen time was super short! aaahhh~~~~ i hope his screen time will be longer in the next movie! I wanna see him and harry argue!
Dolores Umbridge’s much more annoying in the book according to my cousin. I can’t really remember….while watching the movie i kept getting confuse between order of pheonix and the half blood prince! I normally go through the book again before the movie but this time i’ve got no time! I’ve gotta give credits to the actress who plays Bellatrix Lestrange….she’s good! She can really act like a mad woman! Hate her character though. Wish harry could have just cast the Avada Kedavra spell on her!
The part where sirius died ended too suddenly that i didn’t have the time to feel sad……i remember that part was really sad when i read the book!
Sadly there’s no quidditch this time! I love watching quidditch!sigh~
Overall the movie was good…..i’ve been waiting soo long for it! However, it’s too short for my liking! Too many parts have been cut out from the book! Wish the movie was longer! I felt that the movie would be a bit confusing for those who have not read the book.
With all the new groups who have debuted and those who will debut later this year, SM out beat everyone with their super girl group "少女時代", consisting of 9 girls.
I felt that this group is a mixture of both Super Junior and TVfXQ.
Following TVfXQ, SM uses a 4 chinese letter (also traditional korean characters) for their name. I think it’s a new trend in SM…..
1) Dong Bang Shin Ki - 东方神起- Gods rising from the east - Tohoshinki
2) Chun Sang Ji Hee - 天上智喜- The Grace - Tenjouchiki
3) So Nyuh Si Dae - 少女時代- The era of Girls - Shojoujidai(I’m just guessing….. Direct translation to japanese)
I think SM want to make them well known in Japan and China too….
Next, the huge number of gals in the group! 9!! Like Super Junior, who has 13 members, SM plans to make SNSD a group with multi-talented group dealing with MC-ing, acting, modelling, singing and dancing.
Did SM get their idea from Johnny( Johnny’s Entertainment) and Tsun-ku(the man behind Hello Project!- Morning Musume)??
SM had a smart idea of releasing the girls one at a time to the public. That sort of helped get publics’ attention and publicity for the gals. All the gals in the group have quite similar faces and are of about the same height.

SM released a video of each gal…..and all the videos are quite funny because they do not showcase their talents, either singing or dancing, just their pretty faces! Except for 2, HyoYeon and Jessica.
I’ve always been awaiting HyoYeon’s debut since Little Winners’ days. She’s definitely one of the best dancer there! I can’t wait to hear her sing! N she’s the only one who has features different from the others.

As for Jessica….with all the attention even during her trainee days, many ppl didn’t like her because of rumours of her dating DongHae and JaeJoong. (read somewhere with KangIn too) They are just rumours. So what if she is really dating them? I have to say i am quite impressed with her dance and i can’t wait to hear her voice too.

haaha…..every sat morning was supposed to be Miracles’ practice time. However, this mornings’ class was canceled due to some unexpected circumstance…….so Sora and I decided to go shopping in Pyramid instead.
Shopping!!! sales!!! n ooo….wat’s going on??? N us…..being "kepo" and all…went to check out what’s happening. There seemed to be a roadshow or promotion event going on for both Samsung and Biotherm at the same area. Suddenly, a male promoter came n handed us 1 flyer which was a competition form for Samsung Idol look alike competition…..n the 1st thing that pops into my head was…."singing and dancing competition"?? wah~ must call Shermin over to join this event! N i didn’t hear anything at all from the guy……..jumping into conclusions myself! It turned out that you don’t need to sing or dance….all you need to do is pose like tour favourite celebrity and the photographer there will take a picture of you for the competition…..OH~~~~TAT’S ALL? haahaa……then….haaha…..wakaka…..the next thing you know, I asked Sora if she wants to do this together and we both went and signed up for it!
The only problem was……we dun look like any celebrity and we’re not dressed like any celebrity…….we just dressed normally for shopping! haaha…..Sora looked like Lina from ChunSangJiHee due to her new hairstyle and her fairskin….but we dun think the ppl will know who Lina is. N i seriously cannot think of any celebrity that i can imitate~~~~ 
Then Sora suggested that we could pretend to be "twins" since we can have our pictures taken together….n TWINS IT IS!…….er…..how do Twins normally pose in their pictures??? er…..dunno! how are we cannot do this? hantam la~~~ The cameraman will take 3 shots….2 full length n 1 half. 1st shot: peace signs!, 2nd shot: just smiling n the for last shot….i told Sora, we should do something….."grab my leg!" n…..haaha…..the picture turned out super funny! we look nothing like "twins" but the experience was fun! After everything only I realised that we should have just stood sideways, facing each other, swing one leg up at the back n pose with our hands next to our face…….Twins style is more to the cute side right?
Before the photoshoot, while we were still thinking about it, I suddenly saw this LENG CHAI!! n i was like "wa…this guy quite leng chai ah! not bad…n then i tot he looked familiar, like some singer". So i asked Sora to check the guy out…..n she tot i was referring to the UNCLE next to us!!!! ^_^!!! It took a while before she realised that i was referring to someone wayyyyy younger……n he is…….JOHN!!!! from Project Superstar!!! So i tot he went Pyramid to do some shopping at the Biotherm counter?? haahaa……n while we were having out pictures taken, he was singing at the booth next to us!!! aaaa….I missed the beginning of his song!!! I didn’t know the MC was talking about him the whole time! I kept hearing "later we’re going to have a performance by johnson!" I tot johnson X johnson…..some dance group or something! manatau it’s John from Superstar!
Even though i only managed to catch the last part of his performance, I managed to squeezed my way to the front! haaha…… i tot he was going to continue singing….when suddenly the MC announced that he’s going to have an autograph session! So Sora n I quickly went to line up…..but then somehow we ended up wayyyyy behind!! He signed on this Biotherm bag which contains some goodies for us! When it was my turn, I smiled to him n he smiled back….shook my hands n then I spoke to him in mandarin "Ni chang ge hen hao ting! Ni yao jia you!" n he said THANKS! his eyes can actually fang tien! His signature was sooo cute too! He drew a smiley face n poke a dot below it……to represent his mole! haaha…..n when he finish signing, we shook hands again before handing me the bag! ahhh <3
Some fans actually requested to take pictures with him and he did!!! I soooo regretted that I didn’t do that, so I tot of catching him after his autograph session to ask for a picture…..however, after everything, he had to rush to another place for some other events so we just shook his hands again…tat’s all…….
Though i seldom listen to chinese songs, I think that his song is very nice! n his live was superb man! His voice was so clear n smooth! oooo….his face is also very clear n smooth!! heehe……..too bad he’s not very tall….just slightly taller than i am.
Another silly thing both of us did was……when the MC announced that we should have a last group picture with all the fans….so I just ran up to the stage! I want to stand next to him…but too late! 2 gals were on his left n right….n I managed to get to his left but with a gal fan between him n I! oh well~~ n i suddenly ask Sora….whose taking our picture???……..hahaaa~~~ nvm la…..just the experience is good enough!
Malaysian artists are very nice!!!! er…..I’ve only met 4 in person before….but yea…..really nice! I met Gary from 8tv while eating ramen at the building next to Regent hotel n I kept staring at him(which was quite rude) cuz I tot he looked familiar….n it took me a while to realize who he is. The whole time he was smiling n didn’t look mad that i was staring at him, When i was about to leave n had to walk past his table…i was still staring at him!! n he just smiled!
The other time was…..I kept forgetting his name….the MC for the LG event at JW Marriot. I recognised him cuz I watched his drama before n when I ask for a picture, he was sooo nice n friendly! n he gave me this funny expression in the picture!!!!
Next was of course Rynn "ling yu zhong" he was nice too! just tat i lost my voice n cannot communicate with him!
I wanna meet Daniel Lee next! Hopefully got autograph session too! haaha…….or picture session!

Recently frens told me that i type very "loudly"…….haahaa……..which means i’m typing too hard on my keyboard.
I think a few frens told me the same thing last time…….
I do realise that i’m typing with quite hard on my keyboard….even on my laptop. i seldom use the pc nowadays anyways.
I think i’m using the same force as i am using when playing the piano on my keyboard….haahaaa plus the fact that i long nails. so it’s inevitable that i type loudly .I should probably change the way i type as some of the labels on my keyboard had been rubbed off by my own nails n fingertips…….also it would be quite scary if the person sitting nex to you is typing very loudly as if she’s angry or someting…… hmph!

Don’t judge a book by its cover!
I’m probably the most miss-unerstood person around……..y? is it because i’m not presenting myself well enough…….or people are assuming too much about me?
1) Korean freak! - I’m not a korean freak……i’m not into korean culture or am i crazy about korea or it’s everything from korea!!! I’m actually very into Japanese culture and likes a lot of things from Japan. I like things from korea too…..but i’m not a korean freak who screams at every thing korean n then buys them home!! n i dun like hanbok tat much…..i’ve always tot it looks like maternity clothes, but i do want to try it on.
2) Crazy fan gal! - gosh!!! whoever think i’m this should see me at fan meetings or concert! which part of me looks crazy?? 1)i met dong bang shin gi….more precisely…i met Kim Jae Joong whom i’ve admired for sooooooooo long!!!!! n wat did i do when they walked directly in front of me? i just stood there! 2) i went to the airport to welcome dong bang n when all the fans started running n chasing after behind them…..where was i?? at the back of the pack!!! 3) even while Super Junior n DBSJ were in kl, i never did go star searching for them in kl. 4) i’m not one of those crazy obsessed fan gals who dun have a live of their own, except chase popstars!!! i have more interest in my own life than someone elses!
3)Mel loves watch sad love stories!- this is a big common mistake…..is tat written on my face or wat?? ppl always think tat i only watch those sad love stories which make u cry n cry n cry!!!!! i watch them but in moderation….n they are not my favourites!!!!! if i like movies like this sooo much i’ll be watching korean drama everyday….but i’m not!
4) Mel only watches korean drama!- wat do u think i am? korean idiot? i dun like korean dramas…..xcept for a few outstanding ones….they all have similar plots n it’s mostly on love! i cannot stand watching movies where brothers or sisters can fight with each other for someone…..or friends betraying friends for some guy/gal!!! n in the end everyone die!! wats the point? i do like korean comedy thou!!! they’re much better n nicer to watch! however i do like japanese drama, they’re more interesting n they actually do tell a story……friendships, family, problems…….n they give great advices, n also the great story plots from manga! i also watched quite a number of HK movies.
5) Mel knows korean!- wow! since when i know how to speak in korean? i have interest in learning languages!! all sorts!!! french, spanish, german, korean…….but at the moment, my fav is still japanese! 日本語が大好き！
